In order to develop the best solution for you, one that reaches the desired effect, we recommend starting with a preliminary or pilot study. Such a study clarifies your needs, wishes, and requirements – technically, economically and practically.

While the study is underway, you can borrow a system – free of charge – for testing, trials and evaluation.

We can also offer you a pilot/demo/mock-up in order to give you and your management (or financiers) a better feeling of the final result – what it looks like and how it’s going to work

Project Management, Installation, Adaptation, & Education

We manage the project and install the system. This includes all the necessary adaptations to and connections with your existing systems and solutions such as Web, Intranet, data bases, CMS, etc.

The key feature of our system is the simplicity in using it. You and/or one of your colleagues can easily manage it. If assistance is needed, we can of course help you with the education of your staff.

Operation, Outsourcing, & Statistics

We can run the whole operation for you with the material located on our servers while the end-users (your customers) perceive it as being on your web site.

Operation includes support, back-up, and upgrades.

Of course, you will continuously receive statistics covering activities, users, what they do, etc.

It is even possible to install the system on your own server if desired.

Input & loggning

The key feature of our system is that it is easy to operate and easy to feed in (publish) new material.

That’s why you can do that work yourself; however, we can also do it for you if you prefer such a solution.

The work can, for example, include processing of material, input, and logging (meta data and info for the material, search words, category grouping or mapping, etc.). It can also include database connections with uncompressed high-resolution film material.

Technical Processning & Quality Enhancement

Regardless if the material is prepared for further professional use and editing or for being compressed for distribution to, for example, mobile phones, a processing of the material (i.e. colour correction, noise reduction, coding, etc.) can make a world of difference. One fact is for certain: the lower the quality (/smaller format) you want as the end result, the higher demands there are on the original material.

A film that is to be shown on the web or in a mobile phone can have a higher picture quality – with a smaller file size – by using state-of-the-art noise reduction or “smart” coding (in real time). Another important post-processing, which is often forgotten, is advanced colour correction.

Just for these purposes we use Digital Visions System Bit Pack, AGR4 ME, and other advanced techniques.

Delivery & Other formats

Internet is the vehicle for searching, finding, and showing films. Thereafter, it is common that the material needs to be delivered in other formats for further use. For example, it can be in different Mpeg formats, DVD, DV, high-resolution 10-bit video, or even HDTV (High Definition TV).

To achieve this (service and accessibility), you need connections between the search material and the high-resolution material, but you also need a server solution for deliveries in other formats.

We can help you form the optimal and best overall solution.

Production, Filming, Live Broadcasting, Post-production, etc.

We have our own film teams and the technical equipment for producing new material, whether it’s for your own Web TV system or for the film archive “Films of Sweden” (see below).

We can assist you with live broadcasting of events or concerts for both distribution and live broadcasting via Web TV or broadband TV.

Films of Sweden (SverigeArkivet) is an extensive collection of film material from all over Sweden, covering all of its regions and many cultural activities. The archive can be used by TV and production companies all over the world in order to produce a film or sequence about Sweden, a part of Sweden, or a specific activity.

Films of Sweden contains stock footage of almost 500 places and activities, from the high mountains and wilderness in the North to Skåne in the South. The footage shows Sweden’s fantastic diversity and contrasts.
